Compassionate In-Home Caregiver
About The Position
Executive Homecare of Hacienda Heights is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide personalized in-home support for local seniors and individuals in need. The role focuses on building meaningful relationships with long-term clients and making a daily difference through personal care, daily living assistance, companionship, and transportation support. Schedules are flexible, with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours. The position is in person in Hacienda Heights, California, and surrounding areas. Pay is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. Free uniforms and PPE are provided, and 401(k) options are available.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a warm, empathetic approach.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous home care experience is a plus; compassionate beginners are welcome.
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain them.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, and safe mobility or transfers.
- Plan and prepare healthy meals, promote hydration, and provide medication reminders.
- Engage clients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Assist with transportation to appointments.
