About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans in Sugar Land, Texas, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. The role requires travel within a 20-mile radius and working with both male and female clients. Part-time, weekend, and overnight opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and in-office orientation and training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
