Caregiver Respite Care
About The Position
Independence Home Health LLC is hiring a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide respite care and supportive services for a client in Trafalgar, Indiana. This part-time position offers a consistent weekly schedule of four hours on either Wednesday or Saturday, one day per week. The caregiver will support the client’s daily living needs, provide companionship, and assist with light housekeeping and other supportive tasks as needed, following the client’s care plan and agency guidelines. The role also involves communicating with the office about care and any concerns. Independence Home Health emphasizes professional care while respecting individual freedom and including clients in decisions about their healthcare. Its approach integrates services into the home and uses collaborative care planning with the client and/or family.
Requirements
- Be caring, patient, and dependable.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude and strong communication skills.
- Meet agency hiring requirements, including required background screening.

- Previous caregiving experience is preferred; candidates without it may be considered for training.
