About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, particularly applicants who live near IM | Health – Urgent Care, Family Practice & Physical Therapy. Caregivers provide companionship and practical support to clients, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, while following each client’s care plan and communicating changes to the office or family. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle and reliable transportation.
- Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing.
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate disposition.
- Treat clients with kindness and respect.
- Must be able to provide proof of vaccination.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Spend time with clients and provide companionship.
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
- Support clients with walking and daily activities.
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist with errands when needed.
- Follow the client’s care plan.
- Keep the office or family updated on any changes.
- Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
