About The Position

Blacksmith Fork Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to support residents in its small, close-knit assisted living community in Hyrum, Utah. Caregivers assist residents with activities of daily living and provide respectful, compassionate care while supporting their dignity, comfort, and safety. They observe and report changes to the RCC and nurse. The role offers day, swing, and graveyard/NOC shifts. Part-time opportunities are available, with future possibilities for full-time work. NOC and weekend shift differentials are offered. The community describes its culture as kind, supportive, and team-oriented, with support from Administration, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities, and Dietary. Requirements

Genuine love for the elderly and a compassionate nature.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and excellent bedside manner.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical or high-pressure situations.
CPR certification and a Food Handler's Permit are required, but applicants may obtain them after hire and must be willing to do so if not already certified.
