About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring caregivers to provide personalized, non-medical in-home care to seniors and others who need assistance. The role supports clients in remaining safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. Overnight and daytime 12-hour shifts are available, with an immediate start. The starting pay is $18 to $22 per hour. Hours over 40 and holiday hours are paid at time and a half. Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Comfort helping both male and female clients.
• Experience assisting with personal care.
• No restrictions concerning the type of care provided.
• Bedbound-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation, games, and watching TV.
• Assist clients with showering and personal care.
• Help prevent falls.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping.
