About The Position

Visiting Angels is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, PA, who enjoy helping seniors with their daily needs and making each day a little easier. Caregiving is often about the little things—helping someone get ready for the day, preparing a meal, sharing a conversation, or simply being there when they need support. These everyday moments matter, and the right caregiver can make them easier and more meaningful.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance for applicable positions.
• A recent, accepted TB test.
• A compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home tidy.
• Help with errands and transportation when needed.
• Follow care plans and communicate important updates to the office.
