About The Position

Always Best Care–Atlanta is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to assist a client in their home in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves supporting the client’s mobility, comfort, safety, independence, and dignity, including hands-on assistance with transfers using Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts. The schedule is 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, and pay is $14–$16 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience.
• Hands-on experience using patient lifts, especially Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts.
• Experience assisting clients with mobility challenges.
• Current, unexpired CPR and First Aid certification.
• Clear TB test result dated within the past year.
• Dependability, patience, and professionalism.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow care instructions and work independently.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Safely operate patient lifts, including Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts.
• Provide medication reminders according to the established schedule.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Follow safety precautions to help prevent falls.
• Follow the established care plan and safe caregiving practices.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or care needs.
• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding care and safety concerns.
