About The Position

Caregivers at New Perspective Senior Living provide daily quality care, engaging activities, and enrichment programs to residents in assisted living and memory care. The role supports residents in living life on purpose by providing compassionate, individualized care, following safety and healthcare guidelines, and delivering outstanding customer service. Training, education, and tuition assistance may be provided to support success and career advancement, including opportunities to develop into a Med Passer, Lead Caregiver, or CNA. This is a part-time evening position from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and interact in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
• Assist with daily personal and medical care routines according to individual care plans.
• Provide physical fitness, brain fitness, and social/spiritual enrichment activities.
• Observe residents and report changes in their physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Record medical and health documentation according to established procedures.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and living areas.
• Promote teamwork, laughter, and happiness.
