Full-time Caregiver (CHHA or CNA Required)
About The Position
Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents and help champion quality of life for seniors. The role involves assisting residents with daily personal care, supporting their safety, dignity, and independence, and building meaningful relationships through conversation and activities. In Memory Care, the Caregiver helps create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. The Caregiver follows Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), documents changes, supports dining services, maintains a clean and welcoming environment, and communicates with families and care leaders. Sunrise describes the role as offering paid training and career growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide qualification required.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
- Follow Individualized Service Plans and document changes.
- Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
- Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
- Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
- In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
