About The Position

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a part-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents and help promote their quality of life. Caregivers assist with daily personal needs while fostering meaningful relationships and supporting residents’ safety, dignity, and independence. In Memory Care, the role includes creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• CHHA or CNA required, as stated in the job title.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
