About The Position

Silverado is hiring a full-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role focuses on compassionate, dependable care and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The position is based at Silverado San Juan Capistrano and is scheduled for the NOC shift on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred. The anticipated pay range is $21–$24 USD.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions is preferred but not required.
Weekend and holiday availability preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
