About The Position

Silverado Hermann Park is hiring a full-time Caregiver to support residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role provides hands-on assistance with daily living and helps create a safe, respectful, engaging environment where residents can live with dignity and joy. Successful candidates are compassionate, dependable, patient, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a team-focused setting.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
