About The Position

Silverado Hermann Park is hiring a full-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The position is scheduled for the NOC shift, with variable days from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
