About The Position

The Caregiver assists residents with all aspects of daily life as indicated in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The role supports residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality, and documents care provided during assigned shifts. The position is located at 132 Warwick Rd, Haddonfield, NJ 08033, and pays $20.50–$21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, including intermittently lifting and supporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
