Caregiver - Full Time
About The Position
CountryHouse Residence, an Agemark Senior Living community in Granite Bay, California, is hiring a full-time Caregiver for a Friday–Monday PM schedule. The Caregiver helps residents feel comfortable, supported, and valued by assisting with everyday routines, encouraging independence, monitoring well-being, building relationships, and creating positive moments through activities and conversation. Care is provided with patience, respect, compassion, and attention to each resident’s dignity. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. Candidates must meet applicable California requirements for the role.
Requirements
- Friendly, patient, and compassionate, with a genuine enjoyment of spending time with older adults.
- Ability to work well with others and support teammates.
- Clear communication, careful listening, and patient responses.
- Reliable and available to work the Friday–Monday PM schedule, including holidays as needed.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing and assisting residents with mobility and transfers, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must meet all applicable California requirements for the role.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, and other personal care needs.
- Encourage residents to remain active and involved in their daily routines.
- Observe changes in residents’ conditions and promptly report concerns.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Engage residents in activities and conversations and help create positive daily experiences.
- Provide compassionate care while respecting residents’ dignity and showing patience and understanding.
- Support teammates as part of the care team.
