About The Position

The Caregiver supports people with developmental goals and helps them grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships, encouraging participation in the community and favorite activities, and supporting goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
