Full-Time Caregiver
About The Position
Senior Helpers of Santa Barbara is seeking caregivers for a locally owned home care agency serving Santa Barbara County. The agency emphasizes compassionate senior care and a positive, team-oriented work environment. Applicants at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Caregivers should be available Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and be comfortable around animals. Shifts are available for an immediate start. Running errands requires use of a personal vehicle, an active driver's license, and auto insurance. Mileage is reimbursed. Requirements
- Availability Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Comfortable around animals.
- An active driver's license and auto insurance, and use of a personal vehicle, for running errands.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and agency staff.
- Assist with personal care.
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with assigned Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Run errands using a personal vehicle.
