About The Position
Mainplace Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The Caregiver encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions. Requirements
- Meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Prior direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
- Encourage resident independence, support resident choice, and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.
- Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
- Take personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
- Maintain consistent attendance as scheduled and address work-related problems with the proper individuals.
- Listen carefully, respond thoughtfully and sensitively, and report information accurately and promptly to appropriate people.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance.
- Participate in designated facility in-services.
- Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
