About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers in Corrigan, Texas, and surrounding areas to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship to seniors and veterans in their homes. Care is tailored to each client's individual needs and helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Available shifts include day, evening, and overnight, as well as full-time, part-time, and weekend schedules.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Demonstrate compassion and dependability.
• Have strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Be willing to travel throughout Corrigan and surrounding communities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage clients' independence, dignity, and engagement.
