About The Position

Spring Oak Senior Living at Bedford is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join its evening and overnight care teams in Bedford, Virginia. The role provides hands-on care, companionship, and support with residents’ daily routines in an established senior living community with an experienced, supportive leadership team and opportunities to grow within Spring Oak. The community seeks team members who bring kindness, patience, and teamwork to every shift. Available shifts are 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. This is a full-time position requiring work every other weekend. The advertised pay is $15.00–$16.50 per hour. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
Support residents with mobility and transfers according to individualized care plans.
Help residents with evening routines or overnight needs, depending on the shift.
Respond promptly to requests for assistance and report changes in residents’ condition.
Offer companionship while promoting residents’ dignity, comfort, and independence.
Communicate clearly with nurses, medication aides, teammates, and the incoming shift.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
