About The Position
The Caregiver provides residents with personal assistance and routine daily care and services to support their independence and quality of life. The role also assists residents with recreational activities to help maintain their optimum level of functioning. The position is full-time and follows an afternoon/evening schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., plus every other Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Encore Senior Living offers a full training program and is willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A love for working with seniors.
- Flexible, fun, energetic, and able to project calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
