About The Position

Silverado is hiring a full-time PM-shift Caregiver at Silverado Costa Mesa to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to help residents experience dignity, safety, and meaningful engagement. Caregivers work with residents, families, fellow team members, and the nursing team. The anticipated pay range is $21–$24 USD.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Able to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
