About The Position

Silverado Belmont Hills is hiring a full-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role calls for compassion, reliability, patience, integrity, and a team-focused approach to helping residents live with dignity and joy.

The Caregiver assists residents with daily living activities and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The role also involves building relationships with residents, families, and team members, keeping accurate care records, and reporting changes to the nursing team. The schedule is a PM shift, four days on and two days off.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
