About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors in Country Club Hills, Illinois. The goal is to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. Caregivers receive training and support while assisting clients with daily needs and following each client’s care plan. The work is in person and may be full-time or part-time.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful and compassionate demeanor and good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the USA.
Must be reliable.

Responsibilities

Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including attending appointments and going for walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping, as needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete independently, including meal preparation.
Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
Respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
Follow the client’s care plan.
