About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, particularly applicants who live near Newtown Square Apothecary by Apotheco Pharmacy. Caregivers help clients feel safe, comfortable, supported, and cared for through companionship and assistance with personal care and daily activities. The role includes full-time and part-time positions with flexible scheduling across day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and reliable transportation.
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete required testing.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate disposition.
• Treat clients with kindness and respect.
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with clients and provide companionship.
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Support clients with walking and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Help clients with errands when needed.
• Follow the client’s care plan.
• Keep the office or family updated about changes.
• Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
