About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, especially candidates living near Newtown Square Apothecary by Apotheco Pharmacy. Caregivers help clients feel safe, comfortable, supported, and cared for through companionship and assistance with personal care and daily activities. The position is with Visiting Angels MainLine and offers full-time and part-time opportunities, flexible scheduling, and day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and transportation.
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate.
• Treat clients with kindness and respect.
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with clients and provide companionship.
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Support clients with walking and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands when needed.
• Follow the client’s care plan.
• Keep the office or family updated on any changes.
• Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
