About The Position

The Transportation Floater assists the Transportation Manager in developing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for people served. The position acts as a substitute driver for existing routes as needed. The schedule is a full-time split shift: 6:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Paid training is available; the role requires availability for 2–4 weeks of training, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The job posting notes that this is not a complete job description and that a complete description can be provided upon request.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Valid Kansas driver's license held for a minimum of 2 years, with a good driving record.
Commercial driver's license (CDL) endorsement.
DOT medical examiner's certificate.
Availability for 2–4 weeks of paid training, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Nice To Haves

3 years of driving experience.
1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
