Caregivers With Full Days Close to Home in South OC and Premium Pay
About The Position
Provide in-home support to clients in South Orange County, helping them remain safely in their homes. Care may include bathing and dressing, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Clients may be recovering from surgery, living with dementia, or need dependable support at home. Caregivers are matched with clients suited to their experience and comfort level and are informed about the care needs before assignments. The agency is building consistent, full-day routes with clients located close together. Caregivers may work back-to-back shifts of approximately 3–5 hours, creating 6–10-hour days multiple times per week. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules in San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, and Aliso Viejo. Pay is $20–$27 per hour based on experience, with paid travel time and mileage between cases. Pay is issued every two weeks, with same-day pay available through PayActiv. The agency is locally and independently owned. It states that it provides caregiver support, avoids overbooking, gives caregivers information about assignments in advance, and responds to applications, usually within one business day. Requirements
- At least six months of caregiving experience; experience caring for a family member counts.
- California Home Care Aide registration, or willingness to register.
- Current TB clearance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
