About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is hiring caregivers for full-day routes in South Orange County, including San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, and Aliso Viejo. Caregivers may serve two or three nearby clients in back-to-back shifts of approximately 3–5 hours each, creating workdays of roughly 6–10 hours multiple times a week. The agency aims to provide consistent schedules in one geographic area, with paid travel time and mileage between cases. Pay is $20–$27 per hour, based on experience, with biweekly pay and access to same-day pay through PayActiv.

Caregivers provide in-home assistance so clients can remain at home. Clients may be recovering from surgery, living with dementia, or need dependable support at home. The agency matches caregivers with clients suited to their experience and comfort level and provides information about each assignment. Paid on-the-clock training and access to Homewatch CareGivers University are provided.

This is an opportunity with a local, independently owned agency. The employer says caregivers can expect direct support from office staff and consistent scheduling. The position is available full-time or part-time.

Requirements

• At least six months of caregiving experience; experience caring for a family member counts.
• California Home Care Aide registration, or willingness to register.
• Current TB clearance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Comfort with hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing and dressing.
• Help clients get around safely.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.

• Travel between client cases as scheduled.
