PT Caregiver
About The Position
Brookdale Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care, helping with household tasks, and engaging residents in meaningful conversations while providing attentive care. Depending on state regulations, training or certification may be required. Brookdale offers opportunities for career advancement, including into Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) and Medication Technician (QMAP) roles, as well as professional development and wellness programs.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents and recognize individual needs.
- Encourage residents’ independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
