About The Position

Astoria Senior Living, an Agemark Senior Living community in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to support residents’ daily needs and help make their days meaningful. The role involves assisting residents with personal care while promoting their independence, well-being, dignity, and engagement. Caregivers build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented workplace guided by Agemark’s EPIC ACTS values: Excellence, Personal Investment, Celebration, Accountability, Compassion, and Team Spirit. Training is provided; previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Dependability and availability to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, and other personal needs.
• Encourage residents to remain active and involved in their daily routines.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Engage residents in activities and conversations and help create enjoyable daily moments.
• Provide dependable support with patience, respect, and compassion.
• Collaborate with and support coworkers.
• Work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
