PRN Caregiver (Multiple Shifts Available)
About The Position
Silverado Barton Springs is hiring PRN Caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to help residents experience dignity and joy. Caregivers work in a team-focused environment and support residents in a safe, respectful, and engaging setting. The position is per diem, with variable days and multiple shifts available. The anticipated pay range is $19–$23 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
