About The Position
Almost Family is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personal care and companionship to seniors in clients’ homes in Bend and Central Oregon. The role supports clients’ daily routines, well-being, safety, and independence, while helping maintain a comfortable home environment. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, paid biweekly. Benefits are available beginning at 20 hours per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Compassionate approach to caregiving; one year of experience caring for seniors or people with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds and to bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull without restrictions.

- One year of experience caring for seniors or people with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing meals.
- Monitor clients’ well-being, document their progress, and prioritize their health needs.
- Maintain a warm, safe, organized, and respectful living environment.
- Follow health and safety policies and regulations.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
