About The Position

Almost Family is seeking compassionate, driven Caregivers in Bend to provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes. The role supports clients’ independence and well-being by assisting with daily routines, maintaining a safe and comfortable home, and helping clients attend appointments and run errands. The position pays $20–$22 per hour, with pay issued biweekly. Benefits begin at 20 hours per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Compassion; one year of experience caring for seniors or people with disabilities is preferred.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull without restrictions.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing meals.
Monitor clients’ well-being, document their progress, and prioritize their health needs.
Maintain a warm, safe, and organized living environment.
Follow health and safety policies and regulations.
Provide light housekeeping and laundry assistance.
Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
