About The Position

Almost Family is hiring compassionate caregivers in Bend to provide personal care and companionship to seniors in clients’ homes. The role pays $20–$22 per hour, with pay issued biweekly. Benefits begin at 20 hours per week. Caregivers support clients’ daily routines and well-being while helping maintain a safe, comfortable home environment and connection to the community.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Compassion for clients; the posting ideally seeks one year of experience caring for seniors or people with disabilities.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing meals.
Monitor clients’ well-being, document their progress, and prioritize their health needs.
Maintain a warm, safe, and organized living space where clients feel secure and respected.
Follow health and safety policies and regulations.
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
