About The Position

Almost Family is seeking compassionate caregivers in Bend to provide personal care and companionship to seniors in clients’ homes. The role supports clients with daily routines and helps maintain their well-being, comfort, safety, and connection to the community. Pay is $20–$22 per hour, paid biweekly. Benefits begin at 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience caring for seniors or people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing meals.
• Monitor clients’ well-being, document progress, and prioritize their health needs.
• Help maintain a warm, safe, and organized living environment.
• Follow health and safety policies and regulations.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
