About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to support clients in St. Louis. Caregivers provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes, supporting personal care, companionship, mobility, transportation, and everyday household needs. The role offers pay of $17–$22 per hour and full-time or part-time scheduling, with shifts available during days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. TheKey describes its local teams as providing support to caregivers as they build relationships with clients and help aging adults.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• HCA registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.
• Must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
• Provide social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
• Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
