About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one support to clients in their homes in St. Louis. Caregivers assist aging adults with personal care, companionship, mobility support, transportation, and light housekeeping. The role offers day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts, with full-time and part-time schedule options. TheKey describes its local teams as providing support to caregivers as they build meaningful relationships with clients and help aging adults.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have HCA registration with the State of California; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire. Applicants must meet state background requirements.
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• Have TB clearance or a chest X-ray.
• Meet state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
• Provide companionship through social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
• Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
