About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support to aging adults. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules and currently has openings for all shifts. The advertised pay rate is $22–$25 per hour. Caregivers must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. Eligibility requirements and compensation, benefits, and bonuses may vary by state and location.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
California HCA registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration after hire.
Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
Applicants must provide timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment; a conditional offer will be rescinded for a non-exemptible conviction, in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
