About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in the Morgantown area. Caregivers assist clients with daily activities and provide companionship and emotional support. The company provides training, support, and resources, including orientation, shadow shifts, and a six-week mentor program for new caregivers. Available shifts include 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling and office staff available 24/7.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Should be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior caregiving experience; applicants who are new to caregiving are also welcome.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers.
Give medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
