About The Position

Home Care Assistance of Arlington is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes. The role focuses on helping clients with daily living needs, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and contributing to clients’ well-being and quality of life. Caregivers work with clients, family members, and coworkers and follow each client’s personal care service plan. The organization serves Arlington, Mansfield, Duncanville, DeSoto, Grand Prairie, Irving, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a CNA, HHA, or PCA.
• Professional references.
• Alzheimer’s/dementia experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of current car insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, including hygiene, incontinence care, mobility and transfer support, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and coworkers.
• Perform duties assigned in the personal care service plan and document completion.
• Help keep the client’s environment clean and organized.
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications.
• Report changes in the client’s condition.
