About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Greater Mission Viejo is hiring caregivers, including CNA's and home health aides, for full-time and part-time opportunities. The role provides non-medical care and companionship to seniors, helping them live as independently as possible in their own homes. Caregivers assist with household and daily living needs, support clients with personal hygiene, and provide patient companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Schedules are flexible, with day and night shifts available.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and a driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of home care or facility experience.
Nice To Haves
- Registration with Guardian is a plus but is not required.
- Dependability, enjoyment of working with senior citizens, punctuality, and flexible availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and companionship to elderly clients.
- Assist clients with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Help clients maintain personal hygiene and assist with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding.
- Provide companionship and care to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Complete shift documentation and submit timely updates.
- Communicate routinely with the office about clients' conditions and needs.
