About The Position
BAYADA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, reliable one-on-one support to clients in Columbia, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The work supports clients with activities of daily living and helps them live their best lives at home. Available hours vary by location; the organization is currently staffing part-time hours up to full-time hours, as well as PRN and fill-in shifts, with the potential to build additional hours. Scheduling is flexible, and clients are matched to opportunities near caregivers’ homes when possible. Requirements
- For the CNA rate, hold an active Missouri CNA credential.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding and ambulation.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Provide medication assistance.
