About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Greater Mission Viejo is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship to seniors in their homes. The role helps clients live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with day and night shifts to accommodate availability. Compensation is listed as $21–$22 per hour depending on caregiving experience; the posting also describes starting pay of $20–$22 per hour depending on experience.

Caregivers assist with everyday needs while preserving clients’ dignity, including personal hygiene, bathing, feeding, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. They may provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments, complete shift documentation, and routinely communicate client conditions and needs to the office.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of home care or facility experience.
• Dependability, punctuality, flexible availability, and enjoyment of working with senior citizens.

Nice To Haves

• Registration with Guardian is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Help seniors live as fully and independently as possible in their homes.
• Provide non-medical elderly care and companionship.

• Help clients maintain personal hygiene and assist with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding.
