About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers in South Orange County, California, to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role offers a flexible schedule, with full-time and part-time opportunities and hiring across all shifts. The posting lists pay rates up to $22.00 per hour and starting pay of $18.50 per hour. Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
At least 18 years of age.
California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help candidates obtain registration upon hire.
Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
Applicants must complete timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment; conditional offers will be rescinded for applicants convicted of a non-exemptible crime, in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments and run errands, including grocery shopping.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
