About The Position
The Cottages Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring caregivers for its small, residential-style communities. Caregivers provide personalized support to residents, helping them feel safe, comfortable, respected, and cared for. The role emphasizes compassionate relationships, companionship, teamwork, and supporting residents’ daily needs. Experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive, hands-on training is provided, with opportunities to learn new skills and advance. Available schedules include full-time NOC, full-time swing, and full-time combinations of day and swing shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow instructions, company policies, and resident care plans.
- Successful completion of required criminal background screening.
- Successful completion of a post-offer drug screening.
- Genuine desire to provide compassionate, quality care.
- Dependability, compassion, patience, trustworthiness, integrity, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
- Experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
- Provide medication assistance as trained and authorized.
- Support residents with walking, mobility, and daily activities.
- Prepare and serve home-cooked meals.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor residents’ safety and well-being.
- Build relationships through conversation, companionship, and activities.
- Work with the team to create a positive, welcoming home for residents.
- Follow resident care plans, care procedures, and safety procedures.
