On Call Caregiver / PRN As Needed / Per Diem Shifts
About The Position
Senior Helpers of Reno is hiring caregivers for PRN, per diem, on-call shifts serving seniors in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and Gardnerville. Caregivers provide in-home support tailored to their areas of expertise, helping clients maintain quality of life through assistance with daily activities, companionship, and household tasks. The role is suited to people with experience in senior living, nursing homes, home care, or healthcare, including CNAs, PCAs, RNs, new graduate RNs, LPNs, LVNs, and HHAs. Senior Helpers of Reno is an independently owned and operated franchisee of SH Franchising, LLC dba Senior Helpers. Requirements
- Caring and compassionate approach, with an enjoyment of helping others.
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance.
- Relevant credentials or experience as a CNA, PCA, RN, new graduate RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
