About The Position

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for PRN, as-needed caregiving assignments in clients’ homes across Enid, Duncan, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and surrounding communities. Hours are not guaranteed; assignments are offered according to client needs, location, qualifications, and caregiver availability. Caregivers provide personalized, non-medical support to seniors and adults, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Scheduling may include daytime, evening, or weekend opportunities, short-notice coverage, new client starts, and potentially ongoing assignments. Caregivers provide their availability and preferred service area and may communicate whether they can accept offered assignments.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma CNA or CHHA certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to scheduling requests.
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
• Willingness to accept occasional assignments based on availability.
• Ability to complete required orientation, training, background checks, and screenings.

• Previous home care or caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands and transportation when authorized.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
• Follow individualized care plans and complete required documentation.
• Provide dependable coverage for available client assignments.
