About The Position

Assisting Hands Littleton is hiring compassionate, reliable weekend PRN/as-needed caregivers to support clients in their homes. The role offers flexible weekend scheduling, with shifts ranging from 1 to 6 hours and possible last-minute coverage. Hours may initially be limited but can grow based on caregiver availability, reliability, and client needs. The position may develop into consistent weekend hours or part-time work. Client coverage is provided seven days a week between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM in Littleton, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, and nearby areas.

Caregivers provide personalized in-home support that helps clients remain comfortable, safe, and independent. Duties may vary by client and shift and include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, and safety support. The employer offers training, ongoing support, paid travel time, mileage reimbursement, sick pay, and a 401(k) retirement program. Compensation is $19–$25 per hour, and the position is overtime eligible.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience in in-home care or a facility.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Three professional references.
• TB test within 30 days of hire.
• Kind heart, positive attitude, and dependable nature.
• Availability to help with weekend shifts and, when possible, short-notice coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.

• Provide medication reminders and safety support.
• Help clients remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their homes.
